LKH Centrifugal Pump Series
The LKH is Alfa Laval's workhorse sanitary centrifugal pump — 14 sizes covering everything from a CIP return line to a high-capacity process transfer. Every size shares the same hygienic 316L wetted construction and configures across seals, elastomers, motors, and special executions. Match your current motor below, then build the exact model.

LKH FAQ
If you're replacing a pump, enter your current motor's horsepower in the filter above to find the sizes that take that motor. For a new application, send your flow, head, fluid, and temperature to a CSI engineer, who sizes against the manufacturer's performance curves and returns the exact model with a quote.
Standard covers general hygienic process duty; Prime self-primes for tank emptying and air-entraining lines; UltraPure is a documented, certified build for biopharma and WFI systems; Multi-Stage stacks impellers for high head; Evap is tuned for low-NPSHr boiling duty; and the high-pressure LKHPF is reinforced for elevated system pressures. You choose the execution when you configure a size.
The LKH runs 316L wetted construction with a ≤ 32 Ra hygienic finish and is available in 3-A and EHEDG-compliant builds. Exact certification depends on the seal, elastomer, and connection you choose, so confirm the final configuration with our team.
Yes. The LKH's hygienic design drains and cleans well, and it's widely used both to circulate CIP solution and as a process pump that's cleaned in place. For combined product-transfer and high-velocity CIP in a single unit, ask us about twin-screw alternatives.
Single, single-flushed, and double mechanical shaft seals, with EPDM, FPM (Viton), NBR, or PTFE elastomers to match your product and CIP chemistry. The configurator walks through the options for the size you pick.
CSI stocks common baseline builds that usually ship in 1–2 days; other catalog builds are made to order — contact us and we'll confirm availability with the quote.
Need Help Sizing Your Pump?
Tell us about your application — duty point, fluid, temperature, solids, and how the system runs all factor in — and a CSI pump engineer will work out the right model, performance curve, and quote, often the same day.
