3-AAlfa Laval LKH-5
The LKH-5 runs a 1–3 HP motor at 3,500 RPM on 1.5" connections. Build the exact pump — execution, seal, elastomer, connection, and motor. For duty-point sizing, our engineers match against the manufacturer's curves.
Greyed-out options aren't stocked as catalog builds. Contact our engineers to quote a custom configuration.
About This Product
The Alfa Laval LKH-5 is one size in the LKH sanitary centrifugal range. Like every LKH, it runs a hygienic 316L wetted construction, ≤ 32 Ra finish, and is 3-A approved.
This configurator builds the LKH-5 from CSI's orderable catalog: pick the execution, the shaft seal and elastomer for your media, the process connection, and the motor. Greyed-out combinations aren't stocked as catalog builds — our engineers quote those as custom configurations. The baseline Standard build ships from stock; other catalog builds are made to order.

Common questions our process engineers hear about this product.
304/304L is the general-purpose workhorse. 316/316L adds molybdenum for better corrosion resistance in mild chloride and acidic service. AL-6XN is a super-austenitic alloy for aggressive chloride environments where 316 would pit. 2205 Duplex offers high strength with strong chloride stress-corrosion resistance.
Subtract twice the wall thickness from the OD. A 1" OD tube with a 0.065" wall has an ID of 1.00 − 0.130 = 0.870". The dimensional reference table lists ID for every standard OD/wall pairing.
Electropolishing brings the interior surface to ≤15Ra and removes the surface layer to improve cleanability and corrosion resistance. It's standard for water-for-injection (WFI), high-purity, and many biopharmaceutical applications. Mill finish (20Ra) is sufficient for most food, dairy, and beverage service.
Yes. Every tube ships with a mill test report (MTR) tied to its heat number, documenting chemical composition and mechanical properties for full traceability.
Standard 20 ft mill lengths, precut 80" lengths for common installs, and cut-to-length service where we cut to your exact dimension before shipping.
